Privacy and ads
Tool inputs and files are processed in your browser. This page explains what we store on your device and what information is used for analytics and contact requests.
Your input and files
Text, numbers and files you select (such as images, videos, audio and PDFs) are processed in your browser on this device. They are not uploaded to benri-ni or external servers for processing.
Displaying pages, collecting analytics and sending contact requests involves network requests.
Bug reports and feature requests
When you submit a bug report or feature request, we save its category, subject, details and display language via Cloudflare as a GitHub Issue (a record for tracking requests), so we can address it. If the repository is public, anyone can read it. We ask you to acknowledge this before submitting.
Drafts are not saved or sent automatically. Your IP address is used to limit repeated submissions but is not included in the Issue.
Information handled by the hosting provider
This site is served by Cloudflare. When you open a page, connection information such as your IP address, browser type and the URL you visit reaches the hosting provider.
Ads
This site does not currently show ads. This page will be updated before any ads are introduced.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google LLC, to understand which pages and features are used and improve the site. We send page URLs and titles, referrers, and browser and device information to Google. We remove query parameters after “?” and fragments after “#” from page URLs and referrers. Google also receives your IP address through these requests.
We send the tool type, actions and processing results, approximate processing time, display language and whether the tool was used recently. We do not send entered text or numbers, file names or file contents.
We use cookie identifiers to measure usage. For visits from the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are disabled. Measurements without cookies are still sent to Google. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled.
On supported browsers, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop information being sent to Google Analytics. Disabling cookies alone does not stop these requests.
For how Google handles this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Data saved on this device
We store recently used tools, some tool settings and any analytics exclusion you explicitly set in the current browser’s storage (localStorage). Deleting all saved site data also removes that exclusion. Text, calculation values and files being processed are not saved automatically.
- Recently used tools (up to 6)
- Settings for each tool (e.g. the calculation type and number of decimal places in the percentage calculator)
Browser storage can be cleared depending on your browser settings or available space. It cannot be used as a backup.
Use the button below to delete tool history and settings in this browser. Analytics cookies can be deleted in your browser settings.
JavaScript is required to check saved data.
Share links
Some tools create a URL containing values such as the calculation type and numbers when you press the share button. Recipients can see those values. Values included in the URL are also sent to the site’s hosting service when the link is opened.
