Place pins on a video’s timeline and save the frames there as PNG or JPEG images. Pins can also be placed at a regular interval; several frames are saved as a ZIP file.

JPEG, PNG or WebP (up to 50 MB and 50M pixels)
Images are processed on this device and are not uploaded or saved.
What it can do and its limits
- It reads JPEG, PNG and WebP images. The format is detected from the file’s contents, so a file with only its extension changed can’t be read.
- Images up to 50 MB and 50 million pixels can be loaded. The resized image can be up to 8,192 px on each side and about 16.77 million pixels in total (equivalent to 4096 × 4096). These limits were chosen so that phone browsers can process images safely.
- Photos with camera orientation information are rotated accordingly before resizing.
- Which formats can be saved depends on the browser. If the selected format can’t be saved, you will be told and nothing is converted.
- For animated images (animated PNG or WebP), only the first frame is resized.
Change the aspect ratio without cropping
In “Add padding”, choose 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, or enter any output width and height. Preset dimensions are rounded to whole pixels, so the displayed ratio shows the exact output ratio. The full image is fitted inside the canvas and can be placed in the center, along an edge or in a corner. The source is not enlarged; it is reduced only when needed to fit.
Padding can use a solid color or transparency in PNG and WebP. JPEG cannot store transparency, so its padding and transparent source areas use the selected color. The same output limits apply: 8,192 px on each side and 16,777,216 pixels total. The tool does not generate or restore backgrounds with AI.
About file size
In “Set a file size limit”, enter a limit in KB (1 KB = 1,000 bytes) or KiB (1 KiB = 1,024 bytes), then choose JPEG or WebP. The tool tries quality settings from 95% down to 40% in 5-point steps and checks the output file’s actual byte count. The result may still exceed the limit. If it does, the measured size and options are shown; you can reduce the dimensions, choose WebP, or raise the limit. The image shown after an unmet result can still be saved.
Maximum dimensions are optional. When set, the image keeps its aspect ratio and is not enlarged. Without them, the original dimensions are kept. File size adjustment outputs JPEG or WebP; it does not try to shrink PNG by changing quality alone. For JPEG, choose a background color for transparent areas. WebP can preserve transparency.
When resizing dimensions, making an image smaller usually makes the file smaller too. Depending on the format and quality settings, the file can end up larger than the original. Check the measured size shown after conversion.
What the resized image doesn’t include
Extra information (Exif) such as the date taken, location and camera details is not included in the resized image.
Convert JPEG, PNG and WebP images in batches
Choose “Batch” to select up to 12 JPEG, PNG or WebP files and convert them one at a time to the selected format. Limits are 20 MiB per file, 80 MiB total, 12 million pixels per image and 48 million pixels total. The tool checks formats and dimensions first, then decodes images sequentially. It applies Exif orientation, but does not silently reduce the image dimensions. Each output is limited to 8,192 px per side and 16,777,216 pixels.
Transparency is kept in PNG and WebP. When JPEG is selected, transparent areas are filled with the chosen background color. Only the first frame of an animated image is converted. Extra information such as capture time and location is not carried over.
Each result shows its original filename and either the output name or the reason it failed. Successful images can be saved individually or packed into a ZIP. Duplicate output names receive a number, and path separators or unsafe characters are replaced with safe characters. Successful output images are limited to 64 MiB combined; the ZIP, including headers, is limited to 66 MiB.
